"Becoming Comfortable In Your Own Skin"
Just as the seasons change so do we. The Bible tells us that we are constantly moving from glory to glory and from faith to faith. We as humans, are so complex. There are so many layers to us!
Do you really know who you are? Who has God created you to be? Have you found yourself trying to fit in a mold that doesn't seem to fit? Are you sure about what you should be doing in this life? If you're feeling conflicted by any of these questions, then this message is for you.
God, in His sovereignty, created man in His (God's) image. He created us peculiar and special. When God created you, He broke the mold. There is no one else in this world like you. Sure, we all have similiarities, but no one can ever be you, and God did not create you to be like anyone else. He created you to carry out the plan that He gave you before you were born in your mother's womb. It's your responsibility to find out what that plan is.
If you feel like you've somehow missed the mark in your life, then I encourage you to establish a closer relationship with God. You may ask, "how do I do that"? I'm glad you asked! :) The answer: spend more time with Him. Pray. Read the Bible and make it personal. Find out what His word says about you. Ask God for wisdom and He will give it to you. Find a pastor who can explain and teach you the principles in God's word, and most importantly, be open to God's will for your life.
In today's society, you cannot afford to be outside of the will of God. You must and understand what His will is for your life because there's safety in the will of God. Know that God has a plan for your life, and that He (God) who has begun a good work in you, is faithful to complete it!
